Ian Jukes
Photographer
Hi, I’m Ian, a photographer and content creator with a passion for capturing the beauty and essence of Taiwan. Originally from England, I’ve been living in Taiwan since 2017, immersing myself in the vibrant culture, stunning landscapes, and everyday moments that make this island so unique.
With over 20 years of experience in the printing industry and a background in visual communication and photography from Birmingham City University, I’ve always been drawn to storytelling through images. Since moving to Taiwan, I’ve combined my love for photography and exploration to create **Photos of Taiwan**, a platform where I share my journey and the stories of this incredible place.
Through my work, I aim to inspire others to see Taiwan from new perspectives—whether it’s the bustling markets, serene temples, or hidden gems off the beaten path. I specialize in street and travel photography, often using compact cameras like the Ricoh GR III to capture life’s fleeting moments.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m exploring the streets of Kaohsiung, teaching, cycling, or working on creative projects like 3D printing and content design.
I created **Photos of Taiwan** not just as a personal journey but as a way to connect with others who share a love for photography, travel, and Taiwan’s culture. Whether you’re here to explore my portfolio, find travel tips, or shop for prints and presets, I’m thrilled to have you along for the ride.
