Day 5 in Tokyo – One Last Walk in Ueno

For my final day in Tokyo, I wanted to travel light. I locked up my backpack in a coin locker and made my way to Ueno for one last walk with a camera.

There’s something about the last day of a trip that changes how you see things. It sharpens your focus. Every little detail feels like a memory in the making — the way someone crosses the street, the echo of a train overhead, the briefest glance from a stranger.

Ueno gave me everything I needed: light, shadow, motion, stillness.

This wasn’t about gear. It wasn’t about getting the shot. It was about taking one last breath of Tokyo before heading back to Taiwan.

Thanks for following along on this journey.
