How Fo Guang Shan Looks When You’re Really Paying Atten

Fo Guang Shan revealed itself again—but only because I finally stopped pointing the camera at grand statues and started looking for quiet dances of light and movement.

I walked without a plan, Leica in hand, Pocket 3 rolling. No mission, just noticing: a monk bowing in morning light, incense smoke drifting lazily overhead, the soft symmetry of stone walkways.

This isn’t a guide. It’s a meditation. A revisit to a place I know well—but choose to see differently each time.

Sometimes, the most interesting sights are the ones you already know.
